THE LIFE OF LLIAN
Pronounced LEE-in
I started my journey into art during a writing hiatus. Fast forward ten years and I have found myself with the exciting - but completely unexpected - title of Artist. Now, the journey is all new.

Every day, I am encouraged to push myself further, find my voice, and establish myself. Being an illustrator means telling a story; what stories can only I tell? Thus was born "Tuesday," a little robot who experiences gender dysphoria and transitions into her true self, inspired by my own gender transition. While Tuesday only exists in my doodle pads, the style I used for her became the foundation of all my work today.

As an artist, I struggle with self-criticism; I think most people do. It is easy to stare at my work, picking apart all of the flaws for days. So I want to be the voice of encouragement for others to take note of those flaws, and then use them to improve themselves on their next project. For years I have claimed to be "Magical, not Perfect." There will always be room for growth, and that is where I want to make my stand.

If you are interested in my work, whether you have questions, commissions, or just want to chat, I encourage you to contact me below. I'd love to hear from you!
Until then, remember:
